About SQS4KIDS

SQS4KIDS Program

Our Mission

SQS4KIDS is a preventative program dedicated to empowering children with age-appropriate protective strategies within a foundation of trust. Our mission is to help children recognize their body's warning signs of danger, develop the ability to trust their instincts, and assess the safety and boundaries of others. By giving children a voice and making them central to their own safety, we aim to foster confident, resilient, and informed individuals who can navigate their worlds securely.

Our Vision

To create a future where all children are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and trust in their own instincts to stay safe, supported by a society that values their voices and upholds their right to safe, respectful, and boundary-aware relationships.

Meet Our Founder

Sally Jones

Sally's mission to protect children was born from her own difficult childhood. At just twelve years old, she made a promise to ensure that no child would endure the pain she once faced. Her journey began as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant, where she gained deep insights into mental health and intergenerational trauma. This passion for understanding and healing led her to spend six years studying childhood trauma and attachment at the University of Western Ontario, earning degrees in Psychology, Education, and Special Education. Sally taught in Canada for seven years before moving to Australia, where she continued to inspire students for another eighteen years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she transitioned into allied health, channeling her expertise toward holistic well-being. Her experiences culminated in the creation of SQS4KIDS — a unique program built on one powerful foundation: trust. Today, Sally lives in South Australia with her wife and three dogs, dedicating her life to keeping children safe and fulfilling the promise she made as a child.

Every child deserves to feel safe. Through awareness and education, we can make that a reality.
